Skagit County is located in the Northwest
corner of Washington state about halfway between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC.
Our borders stretch from the
glacial peaks of the Cascade Mountains to the coastal waters of Puget Sound.

The Skagit River
has a Wild and Scenic designation,
is among the three largest rivers on the West coast and is very popular for rafting,
kayaking and canoeing. Hikers and climbers visit the area for some of the best back-country
alpine experiences afforded in the lower 48 states.

Also, if you
find your relaxation in fishing, this is the place to give it a try. The Skagit
River is well-known for its populations of steelhead, salmon and trout.
